Zhaoyuan, Shandong,  November 15 – Lingong Tire joined hand with SAIC-GM-Wuling to debut the 300 Air EV Clear Sky model, the appointed transport partner at the 17th edition of G20 Summit, kicked off in Bali, Indonesia. The exclusive tire supplier for this model, Linglong demonstrated its manufacturing prowess to the global leaders attending the Summit.

Positioned as a leading Chinese auto brand in the value segment, SAIC-GM-Wuling has won the hearts of the many customers with its strong manufacturing strength, innovative ability, and social responsibility. It has launched a series of products applicable to a broad spectrum of fields and rapidly advanced the development of renewable energy vehicles, in line with the national carbon zero policy.

Over the span of 20 years, Linglong has collaboratively promoted the core values of automotive industry development with SAIC-GM-Wuling. Recognising Linglong's performance in R&D, product, and after-market service, the two parties reached the strategic cooperation in 2019. Valuing energy-saving and emission reduction, SAIC-GM-Wuling uses low-rolling resistance as one of the important indicators for measuring tire performance. In September 2019, SAIC-GM-Wuling, Zhongdong Zhilun, and Linglong Tire jointly developed the rapid-iteration technology of low-rolling-resistance tires in a project that aimed to reduce the carbon emission of the whole vehicle, as well as and the technology compatible with the system of smart tires and vehicle control, contributing to the Industry 4.0 upgrading of the China auto industry.
