Mr.Wang Feng, Chairman and President of Linglong Tire has recently joined Mr. Michael Meeske, CEO of VfL Wolfsburg on an online contract- renewal signing ceremony. Upon signing the contract, Linglong Tire will remain as the Global Club of Champions/Top Partner, Official Tire Partner, and Official Jersey Sleeve Partner of VfL. In addition, Linglong has also become the official Climate Team Partner of VfL Wolfsburg and the Wolfsburg United project.

At the signing ceremony, Mr Meeske, expressed his sincere gratitude to Linglong for the support and cooperation over the years: “We are grateful to Linglong Tire for its continuous support to VfL Wolfsburg during the past eight years. The club is obliged and willing to bring more surprises to Linglong in the process of our continued cooperation during the following three years.”

Mr. Wang commented: “Linglong Tire and VfL Wolfsburg have been actively exploring and making breakthroughs during our deepened cooperation in 2014. We are very pleased that the club and Linglong continue to maintain a close relationship and explore cooperation opportunities not only in business, sports, and youth careers, but also in areas closely related to sustainable society development and climate change.”

As VfL Wolfsburg is the Official Partner of Race to Zero appointed by the United Nations. Linglong Tire as official sponsor will continue to work with the club in a bid to support “Race to Zero”.

Linglong Tire has been actively promoting sustainability throughout the entire value chain. It has initiated a green-tire-lifecycle system that ensures minimal environment impact through complying with high standard on raw material procurement, quality control during the production stage, and supply chain management. The company also uses environmentally-friendly, efficient and intelligent manufacturing equipment during R&D and manufacturing process, as part of the green ecosystem-building efforts.

As a socially responsible enterprise, Linglong Tire also actively participates in activities that contribute to the betterment of the society. The company has continuously supported youth development, environment protection, disaster relief, and global relief during the Pandemic. In Thailand, Linglong has jointly carried out more than 100 programs and direct donations with schools and communities in the areas of elderly care, education, sports, culture etc., which have received appraisals from local government agencies and communities in Thailand.
